How difficult is it to get into a Chiropractic college?

Answer:
Before a student can attend chiropractic college, he/she must have at least 3 years of an undergraduate university/college degree (eg: bachelor of science). Most students that enter chiropractic college have completed their undergraduate degree. Students with a non-science undergraduate (eg: baechelor of arts) are also eligible for chiropractic college, but most chiropractic colleges will have some prerequisite courses that are required before acceptance. These will be similar to those of a medical school (eg: chemistry, biology, biochemistry, organic chemistry, etc.). You should check with the specific school you are interested in to determine what their specific course prerequisites are.
Besides these course requirements, and the requirement for an undergraduate degree, getting into chiropractic college is not as competitive as getting into a medical school program, primarily because there are fewer applicants on a yearly basis. As such, it is possible for a student to be accepted with the minimum requirements, which will be school specific, but you should expect:
-minimum of 3 years undergraduate education
-all required prerequisite courses
-minimum GPA of 2.5 - 3.0
