im not sure it can be done unless you take the column apart.
if its a scrap car just turn the wheel as hard as you can till you snap the lock pin
The key allows the lockplate pin to retract, which allows the steering wheel to turn. You need the key.
take the steering wheel off and remove key switch
First take a flat bladed screwdriver. Approximatley 3 inches long. Then insert into the ignition. With some force (but not too much) take medium sized hammer and hit the end of the screwdriver (but...
