How do I do a system restore?

Answer:
...First of all.., you should check your memory and disk drives... You can do this by pressing the esc button while on the boot up screen... This will take you into the BIOS screen... Go to diagnostics and run check disk... If the quick test passes then your hard drive is ok.., memory should also pass... Assuming that you have Windows 7 or Vista.., press and hold down the F11 key... This can either quickly prompt you to a blue screen or it may take up to 40 minutes... From there (recovery Manager) run system recovery... Now this will prompt you to check disk drives... Choose C: drive and press ok... If corrupted it will tell you to create a system check.., choose ok... Then basically cancel all operations.., and your pc will restart.., while checking and repairing registry files... This is NOT a full system recovery (ie deletes all files and returns your system to default... This will restore all your files and ONLY work on the registry...
