Enter in the radio code that should be in your owners manual. Use the pre-set radio buttons 1,2,3,4 to enter in the code and then hold the right seek button > for two seconds until you here a beep. The radio display should read 88.8 or soemthing like that. If you can't find the code go to the VW dealer and bring your ownership papers with your car serial number...

∙ 12y agoI've been trying to figure out the same thing. The best I've got so far is to provide a VW dealer with both the VIN from your car and the Serial # from the radio. Then they can give you a code.
i also had this problem, i solved it by leaving my car for half an hour and returned to find that it had reset its self.
Leave the radio on for an hour if you got the code, but if it does not unlock after an hour then the radio needs to be repaired
