Try spraying Air Freshner into the room. It can help destroy some odors.

Fry your fish outside the house, like maybe on the deck with a propane stove burner. That will definetly eliminate any orders. Consider building in a sink or outside kitchen. Do you barbeque inside the house?

There are products like Fabreeze that can "soak up" odors.

Additionally, there are those ionizer/ozone generators that kill odors. (The ozone is the odor killer.) The units are quite popular and are extremely effective at killing odors, but it is most important to read up on them! Only then should a decision be made as to whether or not they are acceptable in the home.
