you can remove the tag yourself at home without having to go back to the shop. my girlfriend has bought me a very nice ben sherman jacket for Christmas and has just realsied that the sales assistant has left the security tag on it. with no time to go back to the shop she has asked me to remove it. all you need is two items, an old towel or sheet, a small hack saw. take the towel and cover the garment and just leave the tag showing. this will help protect it from damage from the saw. now take the saw and just start removing as much of the plastic case as possible. see if you can saw down where the case is sealed as this will make life a lot easyer. as you remove the casing of the tag you will see a plastic center colom. this houses the pin and spring mechanism. the is also a separate piece inside the tag that contains an electro magnet. your aim as your sawing is to separate these two componets. this will deactivate the pin an it should all come free. worst case senario you will have to saw through the plastic colom and pin. be careful not to damage your garment while sawing. use small fast movements as the plastic will cut easy. good luck.

Water cannot interact with grease, due to its high surface tension, so when the water is removed from the clothing after cleaning it, the grease remains. The fluids used to dry clean clothing are actually chemical solvents. They dissolve the grease, so when the solvent is removed, the grease is also removed.
I've soaked clothing in regular rubbing alcohol. Some stains completely disappeared, and others faded. Good luck.
I was looking for an answer rather than supplying an answer. I believe that soap is used to help remove dirt, to make the surface (skin or clothing) slippery to remove dirt. In other words, if you don't have dirt, water is sufficient. If soap remains on the skin it can clog pores and lead to B.O.

The are quite a few ways to remove a security tag. One method is to use rubber bands and wrap them around the pin until the pin is loosened and you can pull of the tag. Another option is to place the tag in a freezer so that the ink will freeze, and then use what ever tools you like to rip the tag open.
Many stores put security tags on their clothing, new shirts included, to prevent theft. These tags are hard to get off without the special equipment that the sales associates have access to during checkout. If you try and remove an article of clothing from a store that still has the tag on an alarm will trigger to let the store know that you are leaving with something that still has a tag on it.
If you have a security tag ink stain in clothing it most be cleaned immediately. You can do so by first taking a white cloth and dabbing as much of the ink up as you can. Then using an eye dropper filled with alcohol blot the stain with the alcohol and repeat using acetone. Next rinse the garment and soak for 30 minutes with one-third cup of detergent. You can also add color safe bleach to the water and then wash the clothing on regular cycle using hot water. This should remove the stain.
