Muslims reject the teachings of Jesus from first hand and contemporary sources and impose him on the narrative of the Qur'an. Within the Qur'an Jesus is stripped from his teaching regarding salvation and his own divinity and is recognised as merely a prophet.

From Al Baqarah (the Cow) verse 4: "… Who believe in that which has been sent down to you (Prophet Muhammad) and what has been sent down before you (to Prophets Jesus and Moses) and firmly believe in the Everlasting Life. …"
Muslims make no distinction between any of the Prophets of Allah.

Muslims have great respect for the prophet Jesus as well as other prophets. As said in the following verses;
(Say ye: we believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) Prophets from their Lord: we make no difference between one and another of them: and we bow to Allah (in Islam).) (Al-Baqarah 2: 136)

We believe his birth to be miraculous and there is a whole chapter in the quran titled Surah Maryam (Mary). One of the belief in Islam is to be believe in the prophets. If we don't, we won't be Muslims. So Jesus (peace be upon him) is a prophet of Allah and has a great status in Islam.

In Islam religion, Jesus (peace be upon him) is believed as one of the greatest prophets and one of the greatest messengers of God to mankind.

In the Quran, there is a complete chapter (called Surah) titled 'Maryam' (Mary) that confirms Maryam virgin birth (chapter 19)



The Quran states the following on the birth of Jesus (peace be upon him):
(Remember) when the angels said, "O Mary, God gives you good news of a word from Him (God), whose name is the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, revered in this world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought near (to God). He will speak to the people from his cradle and as a man, and he is of the righteous." She said, "My Lord, how can I have a child when no mortal has touched me?" He said, "So (it will be). God creates what He wills. If He decrees a thing, He says to it only, 'Be!' and it is." (Quran, 3:45-47)
Jesus was born as miracle by the word and command of God. This command is, as said in Quran, the same command that had brought Adam into being with neither a father nor a mother. God has said in Quran:
The case of Jesus with God is like the case of Adam. He created him from dust, and then He said to him, "Be!" and he came into being. (Quran, 3/59)
During the prophetic mission of Jesus (peace be upon him), Jesus performed many miracles. God tells us that Jesus said:
"I have come to you with a sign from your Lord. I make for you the shape of a bird out of clay, I breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by God's permission. I heal the blind from birth and the leper. And I bring the dead to life by God's permission. And I tell you what you eat and what you store in your houses...." (Quran, 3/49)
Muslims believe that Jesus was not crucified. They believe that the enemies of Jesus (peace upon him) plotted and planned to crucify Jesus. However, God miraculously saved Jesus and raised him up to Him (to God). God, the all powerful and the all Mighty, put the likeness of Jesus (peace upon him) over another man. The enemies of Jesus (peace upon him) thought that the this other man is Jesus and they took him and crucified him. God has said:
...They said, "We killed the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of God." They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but the likeness of him was put on another man (and they killed that man)... (Quran, 4/157)
It is worthy to emphasize that, in Islam beliefs, both Jesus (peace upon him) and Mohamed, or may be spelled Muhammad, (peace upon him) came to mankind to call for worshiping only and the only one God. Neither of them nor Moses came to change the basic doctrine of the belief in one and only God. this doctrine that was brought by earlier prophets from including Noah, Abraham, Isac, Jacob, David, Solomon, and others. both Jesus (peace upon him) and Mohamed received the revelation from God to confirm and renew the doctrine of worshiping one (and only one) God.
Muslims do believe in Jesus. They believe that he is a prophet and messenger of god. They do not believe that Jesus is god, however Muslims love and respect Jesus very much. Muslims believe that Jesus (Isah) is still alive and in heaven with God. They believe that God made an evil man that wanted to hand Jesus look like Jesus to the evil mans friends were fooled. They thought that he was Jesus and hung him instead even though he tried to tell them he wasn't Jesus. Muslims believe that Jesus was brought up to heaven with God and is still living. Muslims believe that there is only 1 god, Allah and that Jesus is one of Allah's prophets. Muslims do not believe that Jesus is the last prophet. Muslims believe that Muhammad is the last prophet of Allah. Muslims follow what prophet Muhammad does and follow what is in their religious book: The Holy Quran. Muslims also follow Hadiths. They see him as a prophet, whose words were misappropriated and twisted by his disciples.

We Muslims believe in Jesus, we do love Him a lot. Jesus is a very great prophet & we are waiting for His blessed second coming to the world to spread all good things, happiness, peace & prosperity.
Well I am not a Muslim, but I have read and I have found out that there are a particular type of Muslims in Trinidad that believes that Jesus was just another prophet sent by GOD to prophesy GOD's word. They do not believe that Jesus was the mosiah. They also believed in another prophet called Mohammed. They believed in his teachings, however there were some that believed that he was the saviour of the Muslim community and wanted to worship him in that way, even when he refused and told them constantly that he is only just a man, a messenger sent from GOD. They believe that Jesus had special gifts when he was a baby, for example being able to speak as soon as he was born and this is what proved that he was a special messenger from GOD.
To them Jesus is another prophet, .
He is one of a series of prophets.
In Islam Jesus is regarded as a prophet and certainly not God, since they believe God cannot have a son.
