They can kill local squirrels, chipmunks, and other small mammals. They can't survive well in cold weather though. Overall, a cat can survive at least 4 days in warm weather. In cold weather they will probably survive 2 days alone. My cat is missing right now and my mom is very nervous because it's 30 degrees outside. Also, a cat will have trouble finding a water source.
