Well, that depends. In the wealthy areas of South Africa (and trust me, there are quite a number of those), living is the same as in the States or any other developed country--easy.

But there are still the places where it's harder to live, far away from the cities where some kids can't get an education and have to walk far just to get clean water. But all in all, South Africa is the most developed African country, and a pretty nice place.

Africa is a huge continent, not a small state. There are probably about 400 million children in Africa under the age of 18!

They do pretty much the same types of things that children do in other parts of the world - school, sports, hanging with friends, playing games.

The steriotype child running around in a grass skirt or begging on the side of a road is just that, a steriotype.

Some games played in Africa include mancala, Basketball, soccer, and volleyball. They may also play games that involve clapping and jumping.
