Yes they do so dont be worried if one day a leg or something is on the sand. Sometimes you can see a little clear limb growing if u look really hard. But dont throw it away! I think hell eat it.
Yes, they can. if your hermit crab has lost a leg or claw every time it molts it will grow a little bit of the claw or leg. Until the claw or leg is at the normal size. this is a very long process.
I dont know how but they can because they can regrow their shell and all that's inside of their shell is m mushy mussel and fat, so there are no bones that brake.
Yes, with each molt their injuries can get better and they can regenerate legs or claws.
yes
you don't need to do anything a hermit crab will do it itself. if a hermit crab losses a leg it will grow back. it will grow back after molting.
nothing. when they molt their legs grow back.
They have legs.
no
You can tell by looking underneath the third row of legs on your hermit crab. On a female Hermit crab, there are two small holes underneath the third row of legs. These holes are called "Gonopores". On a Male hermit crab there are no holes. To check-get your hermit crab out and hold it's shell up. Make sure the shell is facing towards the ceiling and the hermit crab's body is facing torwards the floor. while the hermit crab is dangling upsidown you are able to see underneath the legs where the gonopores might be. And remember: No gonopores=MALE.....gonopores=FEMALE Hope this helps! :)
yes they can
If the Hermit crab is a female, it has two gonopores on the first segment of the back pair of walking legs.
puberty
yesYES!!!!!!!! hermit crabs are living things and they need water just as much as we do. Without water they can die. Without salt water they will have a hard time molting. Salt water is recomended.for more hermit crab care visit this website below.www.hermitcrabs.org
Under their back legs there are dots. If there are dots its a girl if there aren't its a boy.
The 2 dots on a female hermit crab are called gonopores and they are where the male crab deposits his sperm in order to fertilize her eggs.
