How do crabs grow bigger?

Answer:
Our skin stretches as we grow, but a hard shell can't stretch. When a crab grows too big for it's shell, it gets rid of it. The new shell underneath is soft at first, but soon hardens. a crab may do this as many as 20 times in it's life.
they grow like us, when they get older their body size grows.
