In your manual there is a list, on page 2-8, for this, but it is very simple.
put your car into the run position (not started) and hold the lock button down until a beep(s) is/are heard...
1 beep is Lock when out of park, unlock when in park.
2 beeps is only if you have a remote keyless entry, but locks all doors, and unlocks only the driver's door (if you really want to annoy some friends...believe me it works)
3 beeps is all doors lock, no unlock
4 beeps is no lock or unlock.
try locking the doors and using the key unlock the passenger side door
Its where you program features with the ON/OFF button, such as DOORS UNLOCK WITH KEY OFF, or SENTRY LIGHTS AFTER LOCK. Just a few features you can enable/disable. Nice things in there though.
If you can not unlock them with a key, you will have to call a locksmith.
Have you replaced the battery in the fob?
If the key will not work in the door or the liftgate, you will need to call a locksmith or break a window.
You can't. The 2007 and below Honda Pilot do not have the automatic locking/unlocking feature. Only the 2009s and above have that feature.
The lock and unlock switch for the doors unlocks the trunk too.Push the switch to the left and hold it.
Use the remote door lock to lock the doors, then unlock, then lock. The alarm should be reset. If not get in the vehicle, lock all the doors with them closed, unlock them, relock them walla alarm reset!
Many of the newer vehicles automatically lock the doors when the vehicle starts to move. Some have provision to disable that feature, but most do not.
Use the key to unlock the driver side door. This will reset the alarm and the starter cutoff. i took the modul that chimes for doors out and mine stop the alarm.
I think you have to push the 'unlock' button twice in order to unlock the doors.
You have to unlock the car doors for the filler cap door to unlock. This means ALL of the doors, not just the drivers.
