Many small farms simply make a sign and set it up on the road offering fresh eggs for sale.

Others make arrangements for delivery of fresh eggs to small local stores for re-sale. Very few large stores purchase eggs from anyone other than mass egg producers.

They buy them - either directly from a farm or through a distributor. They are delivered by truck.
