Jellyfish development occurs in multiple phases. Sperm fertilize eggs which develop into larval planulae, become polyps, bud into ephyrae and then transform into adult medusae. In some species, specimens may skip some phases.
There is no plural, it is as it is. Its the same thing with sheep. You cannot say look at all the sheeps.
I'm not certain that anyone has smelled or documented the odor of fish eggs other than those of caviar, which are said to smell like a 'sea breeze'; although that's not very descriptive if you've never smelled the sea.
