Gebrils usually make great parents but I would not advise breeding them. My gerbil had 1, then 7 and is now pregnant again. I dont know if it is normal but she was always trying to attack the first baby gerbil. I knew this was wrong and sepperated them. But other than my lot I think they raise their babies pretty well. They will stop giving tem milk when they are 4-5 weeks old and them they have to start coping for them selves.
