Grasshoppers don't really hibernate. Some of them do but only if they can dig a hole for themselves. Actually most of the time in the winter the die but they have eggs somewhere else.

Not only mammals migrate.Grasshoppers do migrate too.Even some fishes like salmon fish migrates.

yes grasshoppers do sleep. they need very little of it however, and they normally look awake while theyre sleeping, and they can wake up very fast, so that's why it may seem like they don't.

If they find a place to hide from the frost and snow and if they have enough food to survive. they also might just migrate to a warmer place
