Wether you have the time for it, wether you can provide all things to care for it , make sure you know what you are dealing with by reading up on them and researching etc. that's what i did before i got my budgie and he is very happy. GOOD LUCK

∙ 11y agoyou need to know that these birds are loud some of the time. They go to bed when it is quiet and kind of dark you may have a night light they will still sleep. They will be quiet at night you do not have to worry about that. You need to clean threre cage once a week if you have one parakeet. If you have two parakeets u need to clean its cage twice a week and so on.
