How do i monitor for Postoperative blood loss?

Answer:
To monitor for blood loss, monitor the patient's input and output (f/c, urine output, drainage from the bulb suction, drainage from the dressing). Also you need to monitor the patient's vital signs which will show the trend and any important information such as hypotension, hypothermia, tachycardia, and decreased in level of consciousness.
