How do i persuade my parents to get me a cat my mom is scared of ALL animals and my dad doesnt want to pay for vet visits?

Show your mom that cats aren't harmful at all, they're cute and friendly, and tell your dad that you can get a really healthy cat and if you take care of them, you won't need to pay for vet visits. Well, maybe the spaying/neutering, but sometimes if you show someone a cat, they'll like him/her enough to pay for that one visit to get him/her fixed.
