The most common mechanical equipment in housekeeping includes the vacuum cleaner and the laundry machine. These help housekeepers to clean carpets and wash clothes.
use a steam cleaner... and wash your feet.
Take a cleaner like spray and wash and spray in the spot then a warm wet rag and scrub.
Use a proprietary flea-collar, or use a spot-on treatment as well as using a flea comb at least once a day to get rid of any adult fleas. If your cat has fleas, you need to treat the house, too. Wash all bedding, carpets, and other fabrics in the house frequently. Be sure to vacuum clean carpets, also. Eggs and larvae can live in carpets (and the vacuum cleaner bag) for months at a time, so vigilant cleaning is a must. Be sure to put a flea collar in the vacuum cleaner bag or replace with a new bag after each use. This ensures the bag doesn't become a place where eggs and larvae can grow and hatch!
Is there a car wash in northern Texas that has an auto carpet cleaner as well as a vacuum? Either do it yourself or a full service one, either is fine.
Lysol disinfectant and a vacuum will treat your mattress. If you want to go to extremes, you could spray it down with bleach water and let it dry. Wash your linens in hot water and put pillows in dryer on high heat for 30 minutes. Make sure to vacuum carpets and treat with flea powder for carpets.
Wash
If by comet you mean the abrasive cleaning powder, it is water soluble; just wash it. Carpets are not necessarily that easy to wash, however, moisten the comet and soak it up with a paper towel, that should work. If it was "dry" when spilled, just vacuum it up!
vacuum it and wash it
Its as easy as grabbing the vacuum cleaner and vacuuming. Although occassionally you ll still want to get down on your hands and knees and wash it with some soap and water.
If it's on the carpets or furniture, a cleaner with protein neutralizing enzymes, such as Nature's Miracle Urine Stain remover is recommended. Using a blacklight in complete darkness to detect the stain, soak the stain with cleaner. Leave for about 5-10 minutes, then scrub the spots with a soft brush or rough towel. Soak up excess cleaner with towels or run a carpet cleaner over the spot. Re-check with the black light when the carpet is dry and repeat if necessary. If on bedding, treat with a stain remover and wash in the machine with hot water. If on walls, wash with a 50/50 mix of bleach and water.
You would probably have to get a wet towel and wash it out. If it doesn't work, try using soap.
