Its because their skin is so thin on the body and tenticles that the oxygen flows through their body and goes through to its vital organs, carbon dioxide is removed the same way. They breathe with their entire bodies.

In the medusa stage, jellyfish reproduce sexually by, depending on the individual's gender, releasing either eggs or sperm directly into the water. Some open-water species will bud off smaller medusae. During the polyp stage, jellyfish reproduce asexually by repeatedly budding off larval medusae.

Why is the environment essential in respiration?

The environment is what you live in. Part of the environment is the atmosphere and this contains Oxygen. In respiration you breath in the atmosphere and get the Oxygen you need from it.

In what kind of environment would you expect to find organisms that carry out fermentation?

in an environment where there is little or no oxygen. aerobic respiration requires oxygen ad when it is not present fermentaion (anaerobic respiration) occurs because it works when oxygen isn't there

What do the process of photosynthesis and respiration for the environment?

A simplification is that respiration takes oxygen out of the environment and releases carbon dioxide, and photosynthesis takes in carbon dioxide and releases oxygen. They kind of work together in a cycle.

What does an organism take from the environment during aerobic respiration?

An organism takes in oxygen during aerobic respiration.

With out oxygen there is only aerobic respiration?

No. Aerobic respiration is WITH oxygen. ANaerobic is without. Generally anaerobic process is fermentation, but that doesn't produce nearly as much ATP, and is therefore unfavorable for anything big, like people or animals.

Which process will decrease the amount of dissolved oxygen that can be measured in a water environment?

respiration

The process by which oxygen and carbon dioxide are exchanged between lungs and the environment is?

The Process of gas exchange is called Respiration

How do white spotted jellyfish affect the environment?

White spotted jellyfish affect the environment by consuming food, using oxygen in the water, and restricting water access to other species. Through these actions, they limit the amount of resources available to others in their environment.

Where is respiration in an animal cell?

Respiration is the process by which oxygen is delivered from the external environment to the cells for cellular exchange. Most occurs in the lungs of the animal

What is respiration using oxygen called?

Aerobic respiration is the respiration that requires oxygen. It needs oxygen in order to generate ATP. Anaerobic respiration does not require oxygen.

Do amino acids build oxygen?

no; amino acids build protein and oxygen is not a protein. oxygen is not built, but rather inhaled from the environment and then used in cellular respiration

When glucose is broken down in an environment that lacks oxygen what would the process be referred as?

Non aerobic respiration
