I never knew at first. But I have the answer. You need an amplifying source.
I can't really tell you what sort you need, but just something that you can use.
For example, You could have a could microphone that plugs into your speakers.
There's got to be something you have to plug it into.
I've never been sure what's the best method, but I just use guitar hero world tour's music studio and the microphone and turn the volume up. XD
