I'm pretty sure the ocean doesn't affect the weather besides the fact that the water in the ocean slowly rises and fills the clouds which makes it rain but other then that the ocean really doesn't do anything I don't think. I will reply with a more refined answer once I get one. I may be wrong but I hope I helped at least a little haha.
