How do people against gun control feel?

If they outlaw guns, we the citizens won't have them anymore. The gang members and drug dealers will have them because they don't follow the law anyway, yet they are the people who these idiot politicians want to disarm! A gun control law will do nothing but make the good guys (and by extension, the nation itself) more helpless. For example, automatic weapons are illegal. That means that your average Joe doesnt have one. But there are still gang wars that involve copious amounts of these! So all they did was make Joe weaker and more vulnerable! When the Roman Empire disarmed its citizens, its rate of destruction increased 100 fold! Look at history! Its not rocket science.
