How do people in India celebrate Christmas?

There two main religions practiced by the people of India, Hindu-ism and the Muslim religion. Christmas is a Christian holiday. Why would they celebrate Christmas????? That would be like Christians celebrating holidays of the Muslim or Hundu religions.
