The bulb thermometer--the common glass type--is filled with a fluid such as Mercury. The liquid changes its volume relative to its temperature, moving up and down the tube as it heats up or cools down. The mercury takes up less space when it is cold and more when it is hot.
An outdoor thermometer measures the temperatures of the surrounding air and is usually affixed to the sides of houses or decks to give an exact reading of the temperature in the immediate area. The bulb of the thermometer--the common glass type--is filled with a fluid such as mercury. The liquid changes its volume relative to its temperature, moving up and down the tube as it heats up or cools down. The mercury takes up less space when it is cold and more when it is hot.
The Galileo thermometer consists of a sealed glass tube that is filled with water and several floating bubbles. The bubbles are glass spheres filled with a colored liquid mixture. This liquid mixture may contain alcohol, or it might simply be water with food coloring.
Attached to each bubble is a little metal tag that indicates a temperature. A number and degree symbol are engraved in the tag. These metal tags are actually calibrated counterweights. The weight of each tag is slightly different from the others. Since the bubbles are all hand-blown glass, they aren't exactly the same size and shape. The bubbles are calibrated by adding a certain amount of fluid to them so that they have the exact same density. So, after the weighted tags are attached to the bubbles, each differs very slightly in density (the ratio of mass to volume) from the other bubbles, and the density of all of them is very close to the density of the surrounding water.
If you have read this question, then you know that an object immersed in a fluid experiences two major forces: the downward pull of gravity and the upward push of buoyancy. It is the downward force of gravity that makes this thermometer work.
The basic idea is that as the temperature of the air outside the thermometer changes, so does the temperature of the water surrounding the bubbles. As the temperature of the water changes, it either expands or contracts, thereby changing its density. So, at any given density, some of the bubbles will float and others will sink. The bubble that sinks the most

I'm not sure that I understand the question, but I know of thermometers that have a wireless connection so you can check the temperature from a distance. It works like a cordless phone - it has a wireless connection. Liquids and other materials expand in proportion to the amount of heat they contain.
Outdoor thermometers are filled with mercury that changes its volume relative to the temperature. The mercury will move up and down as the temperature changes.
Outdoor thermometers can be found at a variety of stores, including home improvement stores like Home Depot and Lowe's, garden centers, hardware stores, and online retailers such as Amazon. They may also be available at some department stores that have a home and garden section.
the thermometers which are used to find your temperature
There are several types of thermometers. Clinical thermometers are used to measure the body temperature of the patient. Ear Thermometers make it an accurate point to measure the body temperature. Pacifier thermometers are used to check the body temperature of babies or infants. Underarm thermometers are kept in the underarms to measure the body temperature. Not to mention the food thermometers that are often used for checking the heat of the oil or pop up to let you know when the meat is done.
Most thermometers used to contain Mercury until it was found to be toxic.
We ca use thermometers, thermocouples, resistance thermometers, pyrometers etc.
Outdoor thermometers can be found at garden centers, department stores or superstores. There are also electronic stores that sell wireless outdoor thermometers.
Home Depot has a wide variety of outdoor thermometers available in their garden section. They also offer high quality indoor/outdoor thermometers that plug into the wall.
Outdoor Clocks and Thermometers can be purchased online from most major retailers such as Amazon. You can also purchase them from home improvement stores such as Lowes.
Some brands that sell indoor and outdoor thermometers are Oregon Scientific, Maplin, Extech, Silverline, NScessity, Taylor, Timex, ETI, Judge and Metaltex.
Greenhouse thermometers typically include a humidity measurement which regular thermometers do not. Outdoor thermometers can also be used as they are stronger than a typical indoor thermometer.

Laser thermometers are actually just infrared thermometers. The laser is actually just there to make the thermometer easier to aim.
Liquid in glass thermometers are fragile. For precise work, they need to be recalibrated frequently.
AcuRite is one company who makes wireless outdoor thermometers, and you can purchase them either from AcuRite's official website or from an online store such as Amazon.
Liquid expands as it gets warmer.
Thermometers are very effective in measuring temperatures, in both C and F degrees.
