How do u erase history of websites on a mac computer?

Answer:

To delete the history file in Safari, the default Mac browser, simply select "Clear History" at the bottom of the History menu.

To delete (only) the history file in FireFox, probably the most common alternate browser on the Mac, is much trickier. Select "Preferences" under the Firefox menu, select the Privacy tab, click on "Clear Now..." on the lower right, uncheck everything but "Browsing History", and click on "Clear Private Data Now".

That's it!
