Nobody can tell you what to write - you must write what is in your own heart and mind. Copying what someone else has written leads to dull, boring writing that is not going to help you learn how to write better.

1.

Describe particular smells and tastes in the paragraph. Use the most descriptive words possible to allow the reader to smell or taste what you are describing. For example: "The homemade cookies filled the air with the scent of warm chocolate, and the chocolate morsels filled your mouth with the taste of cocoa."

2

Add the senses of touch and hearing to your paragraph wherever possible. Describe certain textures and sounds. For example: "The silk garment felt smooth and fluid over my skin, and it had the sound of a gentle breeze."

3

Use similes and metaphors when you write your descriptive paragraph. These literary devices strengthen your paragraph if used properly.

4

Insert descriptive adjectives to modify your nouns. Don't just say "blue ocean." Describe the actual colors you see in the ocean. Use more descriptive words such as aquamarine or indigo to describe the shade.

5

Try personification to give human characteristics to inanimate objects. For example: "The tree stood proudly with her arms stretching toward the sky."

6

Be sure to make your paragraph long enough to give an adequate description. Describe the scene or object in as many ways as you can, but check that your paragraph is coherent.

On a rainy day it rains all day long. A rainy day is dull and gloomy. The sky is overcast with thick clouds. The sky is not seen. None can go out without an umbrella. Water stands on roads and slippery. Those who have officials and other business go out with umbrellas over the head. Shoes in hand clothes folded up to knee. Passers by also moves in the same way. Sometimes people slip and fall on the midway. The poor suffer much on a rainy day. They can not go out in quest of work and can not earn their daily food. They pass the day through suffering. Most of the students do not go to the school. Only a few go to school but they get drenched on the way. So classes are not held and it is a day of great joy to them. Other people also stay at home and pass the day without doing any things. The cattle keep standing in their sheds and bellow for fodder. A rainy day is not pleasant at all.

To write a descriptive paragraph about anything--including good weather--one must describe the senses--sight, touch, hearing, taste, and smell--in such a way that sparks interest from the reader and conveys the feelings of the observer about the subject of the paragraph. There is no need to overload the paragraph with meaningless adjectives. Instead, try to write the paragraph as if you were writing to a person who has never seen a blue sky or the bright sun. Are there birds chirping? Can you see the ocean? Can you see mountains? Describe everything you can see to convey the whole picture as if you are describing a painting to someone on the phone that could not see it. Can you smell someone barbecuing? Think of all the things that make this day seem perfect, all the details that accompany this good weather, and then try to convey them to the reader in your paragraph using a reasonable amount of words and sentences. Ensure that you order them in such a way that appeals to the reader. Maybe you want to build up the different senses starting with the least impacting senses to the most intense. However you do it, you should be sure to draw your reader in and keep them interested in what you are describing. You want them to feel as if they are observing that exact same day at that exact same moment.

A descriptive paragraph is one in which you describe something. You need to tell what it looks like, what it sounds like, what it smells like, what it feels like, and maybe even what it tastes like. Use your senses and present a good mental image to your readers.
