Apply a pinch of table salt directly to the affected area, it will hurt for a moment but within a day or two the cut should heal.
-- Actually, an easier way to this is to mix one teaspoon of salt with a small cup of water (between 4 and 6 ounces per one teaspoon). While salt does work to dry the area of flesh and fluids in and surrounding the wound, this should be done at least 3 times a day for the first couple of days since the natural accumulation of saliva will eventually wash away the salt. Gargle the salt water for 30 seconds, making sure that you feel the liquid on the affected area for the entire time. Do not swallow the solution. this is easier than applying dry salt using your finger or other topical application tool on the inside of your mouth. Both methods will sting a bit, but it's better than allowing an infection to grow inside your mouth, which can be costly to fix and in some cases deadly. Happy Gargling.
Basically, you can't do much. Clean it with a light salt-water mix, or a hydrogen peroxide and water mix (very diluted). Make sure you brush/floss well to keep the chances of infection down.
Fortunatly, the mouth heals fast. You should be fine in a week.
Common Sense Check: If you have a giant gaping wound in your mouth, go see a doctor... why are you getting medical advice online if you're spraying blood?! :)
For that, there is not much that you can do. Just don't eat or drink anything that makes it sting, chances are that means it's bad for it. And mouthwash the crap out of it. You don't need to worry too much about infections if you do this and the mouth heals faster than any other part of the body, so it won't stick around for long. Sucks, sorry. :)
Just wait tongues heal remarkably fast.
Tongues heal faster than any part of your body. They heal fast.
The inside of the mouth is one of the fastest healing parts of the body. A small cut (how did you manage that?) should heal in 2-3 days.
Im not completely sure but the mouth heals quick and avoid acidy foods as this means it will take longer to heal
Suck on a tea bag. No, seriously, pressing a damp tea bag to the sore will help you stop bleeding.no do not it will kill you
If the cut is small, periodically swish with warm salt water. If it becomes infected, you should visit your dentist.
You can get a cut on the tongue if you eat foods that is highly made of fiber like sugar. You make it heal faster by eating lots of fruits and vegetables.
It means that a physical cut will heal but an emotional cut will not; words are sharper than actions.BY: RICA MAY RICO Ü
I have my Tongue pierced too. I noticed the same cut, Was it self done? I have heard your tongue is the fastest healing part of your body so if you take out the jewelry it should heal right up.
I dont think they heal at all, because the tongue is a muscle.
Well that's not uncommon and will ease off and stop as soon as the body can heal the cut vessels in your tongue. You want to keep talking down to a minimum for the next while to let the piercing heal.
Milk does not help heal wounds. If you have bitten your tongue, it will heal on it's own; no need to do anything.
yes
only if it was not treated. some people slice their tongue for religious reasons, and other may do it for a fashion statement but have ways to help it heal. however, if your tongue was cut off and you had no medical attention, you could bleed to death.
Yes it will heal.
Fruit by the foot!
The time it takes a cut to heal depends on the severity or it and how deep it is. A simple paper cut will usually heal in a few days. A deeper gash that requires stitches can take up to a month to fully heal.
5 years.
