How do you Prepare for Rhinoplasty?

Answer:
Prior to scheduling a rhinoplasty procedure, you will meet with your surgeon for an initial consultation. During this consultation, your surgeon will ask you questions about your health, do a physical examination, take photos of your nose from different angles, and discuss your expectations with you. In addition, he will conduct lab tests to check for infections and other underlying health conditions that could cause complications during surgery.

If your surgeon determines that you are a good candidate for reconstructive nose surgery, he will provide you with an informational packet explaining how you can prepare yourself in the weeks preceding the operation.
