It is important to know where to add the proper fluids in a car. A person can add Transmission Fluid into the transmission dipstick tube of a 1999 Tacoma 4x4.
pour in where the dipstick is.
Shouldn't have to add any unless you have a leak in the system.
the engine oil and trans oil is all in one!
changing ac compressor only, how much oil do i add 2.7 Toyota tacoma 1999.... 6 ounces
around 3669 lb, add more with 4x4
i was driving my Toyota tacoma 2006 and start spilling oil iwas 30 miles far from the nearest town so i tried to add some fluid to my automatic transmission but there is no way so my transmission is burned out
Add automatic transmission fluid through the dip stick tube. No kidding!
The 1998 Toyota Tacoma will hold 20 gallons of fuel. This may be a little more or less, as the filler neck will add a small amount of room.
You add transmission fluid down the dipstick tube under the hood.
On the side of the transmission underneath the vehicle. This requires a pump to add trans lube.
If its an automatic, check it with it running and add fluid through the dipstick tube. BE SURE NOT TO OVERFILL. If it is a manual, use the fill plug on the side of the transmission. there is no dipstick in the V6 automatic. It is a closed system
Same place you check it.
