Select the scene icon. Choose auto mode. select menu. it gives you the ISO measurements which helps with the shutter speed in my opinon.
Use the zoom slider.
no the Nikon Coolpix P100 does not have a bulb setting. but you can set your shutter speed to 8 seconds, you will just have to "light paint" really fast.
Shutter speed is so important. Two cameras really fast shutter speed that also have great features are the Sony Cyber Shot DSC-HX5V and Nikon Coolpix S8100. Cnet.com is a great place to do research here is their list of small and speedy cameras: http://reviews.cnet.com/2795-6501_7-407.html?tag=centerColumnArea1.2;buyAdvice
You can adjust the shutter speed of Canon EOS cameras so there isn't a set shutter speed.
When using a Nikon 42x P510 camera it is very easy to slow down the shutter speed. On the side of the camera there is a dial that you can access to slow or speed up the shutter speed.
Focal plane shutter with speeds from 30 seconds to 1/4,000 of a second.
When you add a camera lens to a camera, it does not make the shutter go faster. If the camera has a manual way to adjust the shutter speed, that is how it changes.
The Nikon 17-55 mm camera has an advanced shutter speed of 1/200 seconds and a focal length of 17 mm. It features high speed auto focusing and is extremely accurate with fine optics.
Most companies call these shutters "leaf shutters." It's a shutter that's built into the camera lens. It has two advantages and three disadvantages over a focal plane shutter. The advantages are every shutter speed is a flash sync speed, and every lens contains a shutter of its own so if the shutter on your 80mm lens breaks you can mount your 150mm lens and finish the job. The disadvantages are slower shutter speeds than focal plane shutters will give (Hasselblad 500-series cameras go to 1/500 second and Hasselblad H-series go to 1/800; my Nikon F4 goes to 1/8000), having the shutter in the lens means you have to buy a new shutter with every lens and they are NOT cheap; and at the same shutter speed a focal plane shutter will allow more light to pass, so if you have a handheld meter you have to adjust your exposure to accommodate this.
Yes--but only in manual mode, so you'll have to set your own aperture and shutter speed.
You would want a camera, such as a Nikon or Canon, with a high shutter speed, because without that, a runner would simply be a blur. A high-end Nikon would do the trick perfectly.
Shutter speed is how fast your shutter opens and closes to take a picture on your camera. Shutter speed also has a lot to do with exposure. The higher the shutter speed (1/2000 example) the less light.
Yes. To do this, you have to change the mode in SCN. Then, select the long shutter effect ( press the right button or the flash button ). it is located at the last. then, to change the shutter speed, press the up button or the exposure button. to adjust the speed, just press the left or right button. the shutter speed goes from 1-15 seconds only. I hope this is the answer to your question. Excuse me for my explanation coz I am not really good at it.
