How do you ask a girl to go to the dance with you?In: Dating |
Answer
If you know her, you go up and politely say your greeting and just come out with it. You could say "Are you planning on going to the dance coming up?" If she says yes, ask her if she has a date already. If she says yes, say, "Oh great, then I guess I'll see you there." IF she says no, then you politely say, "Well, I was wondering if you would like to go with me?" If she says she wants to go with you, then let her know a time and place at the dance you should meet up. If she says not then just say, "Okay, I was just wondering. See you around." Those strategies are only for if you know her.If you don't know her, you go up and politely introduce yourself and mention something you have in common, such as a class, friend, or clothing style. Here's an example: "Hi, I'm John Doe. You know my friend Cathy. Cathy tells me you may be going to the dance coming up, are you?" Use the same responses in the one explaining how to ask if you know her. Try to make a comment that you can base your conversation from. It is scary the first few times you have to do this, but just remember that the worse that could happen would be her saying no. There are plenty of fish in the sea. I mean this literally. Good luck and have fun.
