don't be too upfront with him. give him some clues that you're crushing on him. don't just go out and say "will you go out with me?" if you barely know the guy. take some time to get to know him, and when you feel comfortable enough, ask. you're supposed to go on dates and have fun, not just hold hands in school. dating is more than that. just ask "do you wanna go out sometime?" and when you do, if you feel like its right, ask.
