lets look at the number of atoms of each element on each side
C6H12O6 6O2 ------------------>__CO2 __H2O
I assume you're talking about respiration, because otherwise it could be anything. the subscript numbers HAVE to be in SUBSCRIPT if its not a common equation, and even so its still wrong
ON THE LEFT:
6 carbons
12 hydrogens
6 oxygens
plus 12 oxygens
so 18 total oxygens
you need 6 carbons on the right, and that means that you need 6CO2 molecules because each one contains one carbon
ON THE LEFT:
6 carbons
12 hydrogens
18 oxygens
ON THE RIGHT:
match 6CO2
6 CO2 = 6 carbons and 12 oxygens
that means you still need
12 hydrogens and 6 oxygens to balance out.
H2O has one oxygen per molecule, so you need 6 molecules to match 6 oxygens.
that means you have 6H2O molecules
C6H12O6 +6O2 ------------------>6CO2 +6H2O
CHECK
6 carbon | 6 carbon
12 hydrogen | 12 oxygen
6 oxygen | + 12 hydrogen
+12 oxygen | 6 oxygen
its balanced now
the only problem is it produces CO2 +H2O+C+CO sorry but the apex answer is O2
C6h12o6 = -6 o2 + 6 co2 + 6 h2o
CO2 H2O- C6H12O6 6O2 6H2O is NOT a chemical reaction. Where are the reactants and the products? Is it CO2 + H2O ==> C6H12O6 + O2 ? That would be an unbalanced equation whose balanced equation would be6CO2 + 6H2O ==> C6H12O6 + 9O2 (NOTE: no H2O on the right side)
This is the chemical equation of photosynthesis.
6CO2 + 6H20 +energy yields C6H12O6 + 6O2. This is the equation for photosynthesis.
Na2CO3 + 2 HCl = CO2 + H2O + 2 NaCl
2NH4Cl + Na2CO3 --> 2NH3 + CO2 + H2O + 2NaCl
CO2 H2O- C6H12O6 6O2 6H2O is NOT a chemical reaction. Where are the reactants and the products? Is it CO2 + H2O ==> C6H12O6 + O2 ? That would be an unbalanced equation whose balanced equation would be6CO2 + 6H2O ==> C6H12O6 + 9O2 (NOTE: no H2O on the right side)
The balanced chemical equation for cellular respiration is C6H12 O6+ O2--> CO2 + H20 + ATP
6co2 + 6h2o -> c6h12o6 + 6o2 Site messes up again! All letters capitals
C6h12o6 + o2 --> h2o + co2 + energy
This is the chemical equation of photosynthesis.
CO2-H2O-C6H12O6-light\chlorophyll-O2
6 CO2 + 6 H2O + light --> C6H12O6 + 6 O2
6 CO2 + 6 H2O →C6H12O6 + 6 O2
CO2-H2O-C6H12O6-light\chlorophyll-O2
This is the imbalanced symbol equation for photosynthesis. The balanced version is: 6CO2 + 6H2O ---- C6H12O6 + 6O2.
The formula for glucose is C6H12O6 not C6H12O8 which I believe is what you were trying to make in a chemical equation which would look like 6H2O+6CO2 ------->C6H12O6 The rest of the atoms are converted back into H2O and any excess oxygen is given off by the plants. That is the reason that we need plants to balance the carbon dioxide and oxygen levels in the atmosphere.
It's Photosynthesis. Carbon Dioxide + Water + Energy -> Glucose + Oxygen And for Accuracy's sake: CO2+H2O+Light -> C6H12O6+O2 Regards, Sahil
