Ok actually you only have to go to college for two years then a PA program two years. You can go and get you masters degree but it's not nessecary to obtain a license.
Actually, only a few programs remain that don't require a Bachelor's Degree to get in to PA school and require a Master's Degree for graduation. The American Academy of Physician Assistants is working to require that all PAs have a Master's Degree in order to become licensed in all states.
