Modeling at QVC!
Want to be on QVC or the Home Shopping Network as a model?. It is not as hard as you think… Send some digital shots of yourself to the addresses below… Recently I worked for Nick Chavez on QVC. It was a great experience! They shot 3- 1 hour shows during the night. We finished at around 4 am. I was exhausted… I had one more show early in the morning and then I was all finished. It was really cool seeing how the show works Behind the Scenes :) Everything is LIVE, so there is very little room for error. Plus all of the hosts say everything "off the cuff" without ANY scripts! It is so impressive! You have to have the gift for gab on these types of shows.
If you are interested in modeling on-air, use the addresses below to send some photos. If you are interested in being a host, you will need to video yourself demonstrating your favorite product.

Companies like HSN hire its models through modeling agencies so you would first have to be signed to an agency in order to be submitted to one of HSN's castings.
The main reason you can't find a real agent's name when you search for "QVC Agent" or "HSN Agent" is because these are relatively new terms. Most QVC Agents don't refer to themselves as QVC or HSN Agents per se. Instead they call themselves the traditional term, Manufacturer's Representative, citing their experience with QVC or HSN when the situation presents itself. For this reason, finding a QVC Agent or HSN Agent is best done by networking. If you contact people that have been on QVC - small companies and such - they might share their information with you and help you get on QVC. They're certainly much easier to reach than Joan Rivers, for example. You might want to check out the book, "Make Millions Selling on QVC" - it's on Amazon. And you might be able to network with your local chapter of S.C.O.R.E. to find someone that has experience on QVC.
Some home shopping networks include HSN, QVC, and The Shopping Channel. QVC and HSN are probably the most commonly used networks because of their wide array of products available and great discounts.
