How do you break a spell?

You will need:

Rosemary

Sage

Sage smudging bundle

Abalone Shell

Matches/lighter

black obsidian. in a warm bath, tie sea salt, rosemary and sage into a piece of cheesecloth. (or if you wish, you can throw it in without the cheesecloth, this just makes for easier clean up)

Visualize a blackness leaving your body and spilling out into the bathwater. Meditate on this image for 15 minutes.

Afterwords, get dressed in comfortable clothing and begin to cleanse your home. You will need a sage smudge stick and an abalone shell. Burn the sage at one end and move thoughout your home letting the smoke cleanse from room to room. Fan the smoke over images of your friends and family and yourself or anyone who is effected by you. After you have cleansed your home. Pick up your piece of obsidian.

Hold this in your right hand. Repeat the following by land and by sea

by the sun and moon

Break this dark spell that binds me

tis my will so mote it be. Hold the black obsidian, and visualize the dark spell moving into the stone. Then end it with So mote it be. Take the obsidian and either bury it far away from you, or return it to the person who cursed you, by either tricking them into taking it back (via mailing it) or put it somewhere on their property. DO NOT KEEP IT. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The easiest was is to do a cleansing of yourself and your home. Protection spells, anti-curse/jinx/hex spells work wonderfully.

A Pagan Perspective

First and foremost, it is imperative that you be sure there is a "spell" on you.

-Things go wrong, people experience runs of "bad luck," relationships fail, good health is not guaranteed.

- Not everyone who says, "I put a spell on you" or "I cursed you" have the knowledge, expertise, power or willingness to do so. See NOTE #1 below.

Second

- if you are the one who cast the spell, go to your Book of Shadows, do your research, and remove the spell.

- if the spell is in fact real, and you are an ethical practitioner of magic, you understand the Threefold Law (see NOTE # 2 below). Be absolutely sure you have the complete knowledge and express permission of the person you are working on/for. Do a simple cleansing spell and if the subject agrees a protection spell. These should already be in your Book of Shadows.

- if you are the one with the spell on you, know nothing of magic, and have no ethical or spiritual difficulty using magic to counter magic (fighting fire with fire), then approach an ethical practitioner of magic that you know (or know of) and trust. They will undertake a simple cleansing and if you wish, a protection spell.

- if you are the one with the spell on you, and are uncomfortable with, or have a spiritual objection to the use of magic, your best protection from this is your own personal spiritual path. It is virtually impossible to hex/curse/ill wish anyone who is strong in their own spiritual path. So as it says above Pray.

NOTE # 1

Magic works best with the complete knowledge and permission of the one being "spelled." Few practitioners, and no ethical ones would work without it. It would take a rather stupid person to give permission for someone to curse them, so there is little likelihood of the spell working.

NOTE # 2

The Threefold Law states, "That which you send out will return to you threefold."

The practitioners of magic, generally do not bother with ill wishing, hexes or curses as they require much too much personal energy, and put the one casting the spell in the way of more harm/damage than the one being "spelled."

Ok, I'm only going to say this once so listen well...

If you're the one that cast the spell: Go up to the person or thing that you cast the spell upon and slap them or it in the face (if it's an inanimate object, slap it where you would assume the face to be). Once you do that, say the words "I have cast a curse, a spell on thee but now I know it's not to be." Then take some holy water (PURE holy water... someone used tainted holy water a few years ago and... well... just make sure it's pure), get a mouthful and spray it onto them. The spell should be weakened, then you have to slap yourself in the face while saying "I flog myself for the wrongs been done release this spell and back to none." Now the spell should be canceled.

If you suspect someone's put a spell on you: Take a bottle of PURE Holy Water, drench yourself in it, and sit in the sunlight and let is dry out and once you're all dry sit in front of the TV turn it on, and get some ice cream and pig out, 'cause that's about all you can do.

PS - If you really believe that spells exist, please, go see a doctor, a shrink... something to make sure that your mental state is, well, safe.

In real life there are no real spells. How ever to break a spell you could find the answer in a spell book! (do not believe in spells from movies and TV shows)
