How do you make a Nerf base?

You start by analyzing your environment and resources.

If your environment is your living room and your resources are blankets, it looks like you'll be making a blanket living room fort.

If your environment is the woods and your resources are wood and and rope, looks like you might be building a real fort.

Then next, you design your fort to meet your needs.

Then you build it.

Gather as many cardboard boxes as you can.

Buy Duct Tape to tape them together effectively.

Find something to cut windows/lookholes into the walls of the fort.

Create a blueprint that looks like a sweet fort. Don't get too elaborate because you'll probably just get bored of it rather quickly.

Tape boxes together accordingly.

Cut holes where necessary.

Start out on a flat surface. get things such as pillows, cardboard boxes, etc. for making the wall. If there is a patch of the wall that is all cardboard, think about reinforcing it. make sure you are satisfied, and that there are no points were a dart could normally go without the person shooting being in a spot where he/she would get shot (you might want to read this sentence again a few times). You should NOT put the wall level over your head, or over the highest level for you to aim correctly. Have enough room for a small ammo dump and/or gun stocks. have some extra boxes left over to hold ammo (they don't have to be too big) if possible. You should set up some sort of communication with an out post, too. Set the base facing towards the door of the room, on the opposite side of the room from the door. A good idea would be to make a Vulcan's nest. It has a gunner, loader, and lookout/backup gunner.

Here is a way to make a simple Nerf base.

Step #1 Take any fold out table and set it on the ground, leaving one side upright the other against the floor.

Step #2 Place chairs next to the sides of the table

Step #3 Put one chair beside the table. This will make a good sniping post.

Step #4 It would help to put cardboard around the chairs with the exception of the sniping chair.

Step #5 (Optional) Put a large cardboard piece on to of the chairs to act as a room. Leave some room in the front so darts can slide down off the room and into your fort.

It is actually pretty easy.

IF OUTSIDE: Find a nice tree that has some room to place things on. and has alot of handholds so its easy to climb up but people wont be to fast doing it.

IF INSIDE: This is a bit more complicated. Personally I go with this.

Step one: See if there is like a soda bar or somthing in your house. Just has to be a bar counter that you can go be

Step two: Get your guns and hide behind it.

Step three: when someone comes by. Get on top of bar and SNIPE!
