theres loads of things you can do with your guinea pig. you can handle it, or buy a special guinea pig lead and take your guinea pig for a walk around the garden, you can build and obstacle course for your guinea pig!
Guinea pigs certainly can get hot, and too much heat causes heat-stress. If your guinea pig is outside, make sure it's in a hutch with plenty of shaded areas where the guinea pig can keep cool. Make sure the sides of the hutch are open enough to allow good air-flow.
It is spelled "guinea pig". You got it right! :)
The phenotype of the black guinea pig is black, and the pheno type of the white guinea pig is white.
go into 4h and they do guinea pig showing for all ages
in a hutch
A hutch
You can keep your guinea pig in a hutch or a cage.
plastic or wood.
As long as it is well covered then a Guinea Pig can be out all winter. Preferably a Guinea Pig should be kept in a hutch in a Shed or Garage over winter but you can get some wonderful covers now called Hutch Huggers.
It depends if the rabbit and guienea pig are both males or not.
A hutch is best for a guinea pig so that they have more space. Also it is good to give them a run so they can get some exercise and live longer.
No, I doubt it. I do have a friend who has a rabbit and guinea pig in the same hutch but guinea pigs are more friendly to there own species; especially if they're from the same litter.
Well only females with females because the males might fight in the hutch but you can do females with males but it really depends
i would say yes because they are both guinea pigs and they won t do each other any harm
If you have another guinea pig (e.g. two guinea pigs in one hutch) it should be fine as they keep each other company. But if you only have one then as long as you regulary visit it and care for it when your not at school it should be fine. To stop it from getting lonely you could sometimes leave treats and small guinea pig toys in the hutch for it to play with during the day. Hope this helps!
If you want a hutch cleaner that won't be harmful to your guinea pig, you are best off visiting a pet store. They have specific cleaners that you can use that will not affect your guinea pig. It wont be too hard to choose because there are only a few different types and they all do the same thing... the only difference is the price tag.
