How do you calculate date of conception using due date?

The doctor or ultrasound technician can usually narrow date of conception down to a week by development of the fetus, so if they narrow it down that far for you all you have to do is figure out what day that week you got caught!!! Hope this helps, Good Luck and God Bless!!

Dear Reader; One's first inclination is to go the calendar and count off nine months. (Good thought) Doesn't work that way. (Yes it does) Gestation occures in lunar months (no it doesn't) that is 9 times a 28 day month so you would start from one end or the other and count off that many days and see where that lands on the calendar. Ordinarily the due date is determined by first determining the date of conception (last menstrual period actually) but if the due date was determined by tests or sonogram or you were only given the due date then count backward 252 days (see below)from the due date.
