Silver plated flatware has no scrap value at all. Silver assayers won't take it because the cost of recovering the tiny amount of silver (about .20 mm surface thickness) is more than the value of the metal itself.

Silver and Gold Exchange policy: "Please note we cannot accept silver plated, gold plated or gold filled items. These items may be beautiful, but they unfortunately do not have any precious metal content to speak of. Even their value as antiques, collectibles, or jewelry is minimal right now due to the economy."

Little or nothing; the silver is probably not recoverable. It may be worth something at auction on eBay, if the flatware is in good condition, is a complete or nearly complete set, and is of a popular pattern.

Next to nothing. The "inlaid silver" process is just another way of saying heavy plated. They would put an extra thick coating of plate on the wear points of the utensils ie: back of spoon bowls and fork tines as to not wear through as fast. Still not much silver "scrap" value but the set will probably pull between $50 and $200 bucks on eBay depending on what pattern set, brand, pieces in set, how old etc.

Hope this helps

Regular recycling centers probably would not accept the flatware, but you could probably take them to a scrap metal yard. The scrap metal yard would probably take as shread metal.
