This question cannot be easily answered because it is not clear.
To cancel an Apple ID account used for things like the Apple Discussions forum, you may need to ask Apple directly to do so. You can, however, always cancel your subscriptions and remove information from your profile.
To delete a user account in Mac OS X, go to System Preferences > Accounts > Click on your account name, and click the minus sign "-" below.
There are other types of accounts, as well, such as .mac.
