Catching Mew
The only way is to get the old sea map and then take the ferry to faraway island a lvl 30 mew is there somewere it plays hide and seek with you, but the only way to get an old sea map is a nintendo event in new york or mix records with someone who already has an old sea map or use a gameshark.
