You can do just about anything, including nothing at all (my mother prefers this option, actually - less stuff cluttering up her house). Most families do something, ranging from cleaning the house to taking her to dinner to buying a present or card or flowers.
Everbody celebrates Mother's Day differently. I would usually write a card or buy roses. Get her a Edible Arrangement are also very popular. Also just buying something she really wants like the purse at the mall or a movie she really likes. Anything works. You could do a craft. It just DEPENDS!!
