How do you change a 2003 Grand Cherokee Laredo cooling fan relay?

Remove passenger headlight, relay is under that hard plastic cover. Because it's a pain in the butt to get to it, I cut a 3x2 (approx) square cut, disconnected the wire, removed the 2 5/16 bolts, connect it back up, and done. I have a 99 and had replaced it twice already. My friend has a 03 and its located in the same spot. I could not believe when she told me she was going to get charge almost $300 for this simple 5 minute repair. After you paid for the diagnostic, any honest mech will tell you to do it yourself instead, given the fact you cut that cover yourself; or who knows check if the previous owner has done the work for you already. Do not get scammed. The part is $80 at the dealership. WILLIE P.
