The only way to change a MSWMM (Microsoft Windows Movie Maker) from a project file to a Standard viewing format is by Publishing or Finishing the project in the program.
This process mixes-down (exports) the video and audio properties resulting in a Standard format.
When you Publish or Finish the project in Windows Movie Maker, the file name extension (format) is automatically converted to .wmv.
Mac doesn't come with any built-in solution to handle wmv files. However there are few third party software and components that can be installed to solve this. Since wmv is a Microsoft Windows format, the best solution is to install the 'Windows Media Components for Quicktime' which will allow you to play wmv and wma formats directly from Quicktime. Link to install this software component and all relevant details is given below (Under Sources and Related Link below) Play it with VLC player or Flip4Mac, or Convert your Videos for Mac with Daniusoft Video Converter for Mac.
That's not a Format, that's the torrent info...it's a DVD Rip (English) from the FXG Release Group.New to P2P are we...;)Ok, first you download the torrent file itself, it will be a small file, usually around 13Kb's. Now you need a Torrent Client, the program that will take the info from that torrent file and start downloading the real file you're trying to get. If you have one installed already, dbl-clicking on the torrent file should open the client and start the download, if not, open the client (Vuze, BitTorrent, Utorrent..etc), click File - Open and browse to the torrent file to start it.All that's contained in that little file you d'loaded already is the Tracker info, which tells the client where to get the files from (other users). The complete file will most likely be in the .avi format which most players can read easily. If it's in WMV or WMA (.wmv .wma) for a DVD rip, BE CAREFUL!!! That's usually a sign of a fake torrent with a viral component. It also could be in a WinRar format (.rar) which is a compression format that needs to be Uncompressed first, and you need WinRar to do that. It's not free but can be found for free if you know where to look...that's all I'm gonna say there.

MPEG is used for video compressing; JPEG is used for picture compressing, and MP3 is for audio compressing They are all file extensions that indicate what programming was used to digitize the file. Different programming is used for different things and each has it's advantages and disadvantages. Jpeg is used for still pictures. It is not as high quality as some other formats like bmp and giff but it takes less data to create a picture so jpegs are usd a lot for websites and emailing pictures. Mpeg is used for video files. It is one of the most widely used file formats for video on computers. There are others like .mov, .wmv and the one for quicktime but they require more bandwidth than mpg do. Mp3 is the primary format used for music files that will be played on portable digital music players like the ipod, zune and other mp3 players. It compresses the music file so that you can fit a lot more songs on a memory chip than you could if they were in their "red book" format that they are in when recorded on CDs. In short: They are all file extensions that indicate what programming was used to digitize the file. JPEG are used a lot for websites and emailing pictures, MPEG is used for video files, and MP3 is the primary format used for music files that will be played on portable digital music players. You can't convert it back into a .MSWMM, but you can import the .wmv file back into Windows Movie Maker and edit it again in a new project.
you can use a very reliable program called free studio manager it is a file converter program and it's completely free. you can choose from 20 applications. .MSWMM file is not a video file, first you have to save it as a video file in .WMV video, then download snowfox total video converter to convert it.
You can't convert a MSWMM (Microsoft Windows Movie Maker) file. The only way to convert it to a standard viewing format is by Publishing or Finishing the movie in the program. A MSWMM file can only be viewed, edited in the Windows Movie Maker program. Publishing or Finishing it is the process that converts it into a .wmv file, which can then be converted to whatever file type you desire.
To change the video from a project file (MSWMM) to a Standard viewing format such as .wmv in Windows Live Movie Maker, you simply have to Publish it.
An MHT file is a web page and a WMV file is a video extension. You can convert an MHT file to a WMV file using Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate.
A better way where you only need Movie Maker. Once you make your movie, save it as a MSWMM file. Then, click File, and then click Save As Movie. Go through the steps, and it will save as a WMV file! And it does work!!! You can try this video converter: http://www.tipard.com/video-converter.html It supports the mutual conversion between almost all video/audio formats, and HD videos. AVI and WMV are both types of video file extensions. You can convert AVI to WMV using software called AVI to WMV converter. This software is freeware.
The only way to change a Windows Movie Maker project file (with the file name extension of MSWMM) is to Publish/Finish the video in the program first.Publishing/Finishing the project exports video and audio properties, automatically converting them to a Standard Viewing Format (such as .wmv), which is an acceptable format for uploading onto Photobucket, YouTube, etc.
You mean GIF file? Convert the file to WMV for Windows Media Player and convert the file to MOV for quicktime.
