How do you change a heater core in a 1995 eagle vision?

Answer:

Answer

A heater core is quite possibily the worst part mechanics have to change.

It is located under the dash, inside the car, kind of above where the passengers feet would be.

Open the hood and look down in this area, behind the engine, near the passenger feet area. There will be 2 hoses going into the firewall(the wall between the engine and the passenger compartment), the heater core is on the other side of this. These hoses will need to be removed.

There is no standard procedure for removing the heater core, all cars are different and some cars require the dashboard to be removed.

Look for a big plastic "box" in the front passenger feet area and start dismantling it. Turn your heater fan on and listen for the fan running, the heater core is normally right there in the same box as the fan.

You will have to lay on your back for a while and probably get wet from antifreeze dripping into the floor.

Figure on 3-5 hours if you have never changed one before.
