there should be a model on the frame somewhere under the hood. You use whats called a tensioner to loosen the belts tightness on the wheels. It will have a bolt head on the face of it. you simply get a wrench that fits the head and push down and you should see it spin out of line, thus making more room for the belt after you find this it should be pretty easy to follow the diagram to get the belt on the rest of the way correctly
I need a routing diagram for the serpentine belt on a 1998 Jeep Wranger, 4 cylinder, with air conditioning
A Wrench!! takes awhile and it is cramped but that is the way to do it!
The power steering unit and the alternator are both driven by the serpentine belt. Loosen the tensioner pulley and the serpentine belt will become loose. Put the new serpentine belt on and tighten the tensioner pulley.
he serpentine, or accessory belt.

It may be the serpentine belt. Sometimes when you purchase an "on the cheap side" serpentine belt, it has a tendency of making noise even when the tension pulley has been change. Try purchasing a more expensive belt. The diamond back serpentine belt may be the best solution for this problem.
