If you are changing the pads only, (which I did last night) you can remove just the top caliper lock pin and then flip it out pop out the pads, compress the caliper piston (with a C clamp, or with some channel lock pliers that are long enough to fit over the caliper cylinder assembly) and the pop in the new pads, flip the caliper back up and tighten the pin back in. Took me 15 mins each side of the car including wheel removal :)
